The Long Island Arboricultural Association, Inc. strives to stimulate interest by teaching proper planting and preservation, educating the public, encouraging research for the adequate protection of trees and shrubs, and promoting the use of efficient and proper arboricultural methods. Our monthly meetings, workshops, twilight tours, and Arbor Day activities are designed to further educate those interested in learning about arboriculture. The association educates and informs the general population by disseminating information through local horticultural events and Cooperative Extension services.
